In April l'Exception moved to a smarter location at 4 cours Jean Jaurès. The food is indeed exceptional, with contrasts sought between tastes and textures, an oriental idea applied to classic French cuisine. This in an excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner if you have a table on the terrace, despite the tram line running outside. You always need to book, especially for the terrace. The food is good, if a little expensive. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed Saturday and Sunday. Read more...
